Why I Built This

A Note From Our Founder
I still remember standing in the supplement aisle, reading label after label, and feeling nothing.
Not "unimpressed." Nothing. The names blurred together. The packaging looked like it belonged in a hospital dispensary, not on a shelf I'd ever want to bring home. Sterile. Clinical. Forgettable before I'd even put the bottle back down.
That moment is the actual reason Bebe Got Back® exists.
The Shelf That Started It All
I wasn't looking for a business idea that day. I was looking for something to help me feel like myself again. But everywhere I turned, the wellness industry seemed to have made a decision on behalf of women my age: that we didn't need anything beautiful. Just effective. Just clinical. Just... beige.
I kept thinking — why does taking care of yourself have to look this boring? Why does a bottle that's supposed to make you feel more like yourself have to look like it's apologizing for existing?
I couldn't find what I wanted on that shelf. So I decided to build it.
Laughter Is Medicine
Here's something I believe all the way down: laughter is medicine. Joy is not a luxury you earn after you've handled everything else — it's part of the actual formula for feeling well. And somewhere along the way, the wellness industry forgot that. It got so serious, so sterile, so afraid of color and personality, that it forgot the women buying these products are still fun. Still vibrant. Still exactly who we always were — just with different needs now.
I didn't want to build a brand that made you feel like a patient. I wanted to build one that made you feel like you — the version of you that still laughs loud, still wants nice things, still deserves a little delight in her everyday routine.
Built to Be Seen, Not Hidden
This is the part I'm most stubborn about: our products are not meant to be shoved in a drawer or shoved under the sink where nobody sees them.
I wanted a bottle you'd actually want sitting on your kitchen counter. Something that looks as good next to your favorite candle or skincare as anything from a luxury beauty line — because taking care of your body deserves the same visual respect you'd give taking care of your face. If it's good enough to go on your body, it's good enough to be seen.
That's why every detail — the palette, the typography, the way the label sits on the bottle — was built to belong on display, not in hiding. Memorable, not forgettable. Lux, not clinical.
What "Beauty Begins From The Inside Out®" Really Means
That's not just a tagline we picked because it sounded nice. It's the whole philosophy. What you put into your body shows up in how you feel, how you show up, how you carry yourself — and the products that support that should feel like they belong in the life you're actually building, not like a chore you're forcing yourself through.
That's the brand I set out to build: one where taking care of yourself after 35 doesn't mean settling for boring. Where the supplement on your counter looks as intentional as everything else in your home — because it is.
We're now in 480+ Sprouts Farmers Market locations nationwide, and every single one of those bottles still has to pass the same test I started with: would I want this sitting out where people can see it? If the answer's ever no, we don't ship it.
This is why I built Bebe Got Back®. Not to add another sterile bottle to your cabinet — to give you something you'd actually want to look at every single day.
